How do experienced computer embroiderers arrange embroidery stitches?
In the work of computerized embroidery and plate making, the first consideration for plate makers is the needle technique. With the continuous upgrading of computer embroidery software, the needle technique has been continuously expanding, from the initial simple single needle, double needle, three needle, manual single needle, and needle to the current e-shaped needle, three-dimensional needle, needle, curve, and insertion needle The change is so fast.
With so many computerized embroidery techniques, reasonable application can achieve ideal results. Dongguan Yuanxin Embroidery combines more than ten years of experience in computerized embroidery processing to summarize the following application methods.
In general, we should pay attention to the friction between the upper layer of fabric and the presser foot during the computer embroidery printing process, which can also force the lower layer of fabric on the feed tooth to move more quickly, resulting in wrinkling of the seam. As long as the pressure of the presser foot is lowered as much as possible, while using fine tooth feed teeth (conveyors) to reduce the rotation speed of the sewing machine, wrinkles caused by feed can be avoided. The fundamental method to completely solve this problem is to use a sewing machine with a differential feed or needle feed mechanism. When using synthetic sewing threads, care must be taken to determine the tension of the thread, and the tension should be adjusted to a minimum. The tension of the bobbin thread must be adjusted so that when the freely moving end of the sewing thread is pulled up, the bobbin thread spindle and the outer sleeve slowly slide downward, and the tension of the top thread and the bobbin thread must be kept consistent so that they are interwoven between the two layers of fabric. "If the tension of the synthetic sewing thread sewn into the fabric is too large, it will automatically shrink to alleviate this tension. This phenomenon will cause the fabric along the seam to shrink, causing the seam to wrinkle.".
1. On embroidery products that use a lot of thread, several different stitches can be mixed as needed. Embroideries that use less thread, such as Western style pillow bags, typically have only about 30 meters of thread per piece, so the use of stitches should not be too complex. One type of stitch should be used primarily, plus an auxiliary pattern and color stitch. At the same time, according to the proportional relationship between the number of stitches and the number of hours worked, generally speaking, when making a single thread, the maximum number of hours spent on embroidery cannot exceed one hour. Therefore, the use and combination of needlework should also consider this factor.
2. The use of needle techniques should also be consistent with the texture and style of the base material. If you are embroidering on linen, the stitch used should not be smooth and smooth, but should have a slightly rough and three-dimensional feel; "When embroidering on thin nylon material, the needle rules used can be relatively smooth, with single stitches removed, and single stitches falsely hooked.".
3. According to the needs of two different categories of embroidery: appreciation products and daily necessities. Different needle methods are used for preparation. Appreciation items are mainly for people to enjoy. As long as the aesthetic effect is achieved, there are no strict restrictions on the use of thread and embroidery techniques. Some patterns and special techniques are suitable for appreciation items. Daily necessities are mainly applied. Some stitches, even if they look good, may not work. If you use a hair pulling needle on a pillowcase, it won't look good after washing it in the water. Steel needle embroidery, vertical pile embroidery, etc., are labor intensive and should not be used on general daily necessities. In addition, the use of some complex stitches also takes into account the mass production capacity of the lathe.
4. In order to achieve the effect of being beautiful, saving money, and having a soft feel, general solid embroidery techniques (such as long needle embroidery, tap embroidery, etc.) are not suitable for embroidering large pieces of embroidery, and key choices should be made. Even for some main flowers, a combination of virtual and real embroidery can be used.
We collectively refer to people engaged in computer embroidery and plate making design as embroidery and plate making designers, often also known as embroidery and plate making designers. Because it is impossible for a computerized embroidery machine to automatically design patterns, the process of embroidery printing must be completed by the embroidery printing designer. Designers need to install embroidery platemaking software from a computer and use different stitches to design according to the patterns. After the patterns are designed and produced, they can be transported to the embroidery machine through a floppy disk, USB flash disk, or data line before production. Plate printing is not a mechanical drawing or writing 1-2-3-4 without any feeling. It is necessary to consider how to change the thread, change the color, and match which stitch method is reasonable. The more experienced the plate maker, the more perfect the product will be, and the higher the production efficiency.
